In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find a Newfoundlander anywhere who didn't have his own strong feelings on the political scene of the day. And when it's happening right in their own back yard, then, of course, Newfoundlanders keep an even closer eye on the "goings on". And so, to play our role in the democratic process, Rogers tv remains committed to bringing you coverage of politics at the grass roots level. Over the years, viewers have come to depend on us for coverage of the proceedings of Gander Town Council throughout the year. Since 1988 Rogers tv has been committed to bringing the people of Gander closer to the inner workings of their municipal government. Gander Town Council coverage can be seen exclusively on Rogers tv at 4:30 PM every third Wednesday, repeated at 9:30PM and the following Friday at 7:00 PM. If you miss Council the week of the meeting, you can catch a replay the following three Mondays at 5pm. |
